Narcoosees, California Grill, Hallowishes and dessert

DH and I are going alone to the world Sept 30. We are not attending MNSSHNP or buying the dining plan. I have made ressies for us at CG at 9:15 specifically so we can get a good view of Hallowishes. Is it OK to just order dessert? For one thing it's a bit late for dinner for us, and for another, we just can't afford the dinner prices this time. We have eaten there before and loved it, but would we open to trying Narcoosees as well, again just for dessert. Who has the best fireworks/dessert combo?

Have you thought about maybe eating an early dinner snack then doing apps and dessert or possibly spliting a meal?
If you would want to do just desert then maybe just eat at the bar?

I would check with both restaurants directly about just having dessert. I know appetizers and dessert isn't uncommon but I am not sure about a table for just dessert. As the PP suggested, sitting at the bar at both restaurants is an option.

Sitting at the bar around the time of the fireworks is very difficult to do - everyone wants a view!

There should be no problem just getting desserts. There is no "minimum purchase" required, and no one asks when you book or arrive for your ADR.
