Napster Cancellation?

I did the Napster trial a few days ago and got credit for it. I went into my account this morning and cancelled the free trial. I was going to keep this one, but I couldnt figure out how to use it.

Anyhow, it said that my subscription was cancelled, but I was now a Napster Light account member. Does anyone know what that means? Will they try and charge my account for it? Thanks!

I think that means that you can still access the sight as a non-paying member but you have to pay for the music.

okay how do I cancel this? I went to my account on the napster site but I am not seeing where to cancel??

I paid for mine through my PayPal account and I get to cancel it through there...it is slick!

Oh duh! I figured it out! The cancellation pop-up kept getting blocked by my computer!

I canceled mine through the napster software on the computer. They also sent me a confirmation email. This was actually a really easy sign up and cancel!

It was an easy sign up and cancel, but I never got credit At least it was free!

I agree with the poster above me. easy but no credit, though I got the napster to install on my computer but it never did end up showing in my paypal even though we went to the paypal pay page in the intial setup, and it said it worked. So strange. I wish I could try it again, but I know I can't.

Do you have to install software on your computer for this one to go through? if so is it easy to uninstall?

I figured that I wouldn't get the credit because of what I have been hearing, but I had it within hours. Now I am still waiting on my Stamps.com one.

What a frustrating offer. I never got credit from SR and it never showed anything in my paypal account, so i couldn't cancel it. I thought it hadn't worked even though I did download everything. UNTIL TODAY. then today they charged my paypal account the 9.95 after the 7 day trial was up! Now I can cancel but I was charged and never got credit. So frustrating. I WILL NOT DO ANOTHER PAID OFFER. I had stopped with CC offers but thought paypal was so easy to cancel (usually) I would do this one. GRRRRRRR

did they refund your money? They might if you call then and tell them what happened and that you never got to use it.

They billed me yesterday and I was never able to cancel it because a) my keyboard stopped working on Monday and b) my computer kept shutting Napster down since it said it was doing something illegal on my computer.

I couldn't cancel at work because I work for the Feds and NAPSTER is a forbidden website so..............

I cancelled and ask so what do I do now and he said well you can use for the rest of the month but I said I couldn't because of the software etc. He refunded my money because I was only billed yesterday.
