I agree w ArchOwl. I went to Napa Rose for my 50th birthday and had the restaurant table that is in the nook by the fireplace in the back of the restaurant. It was a dinner for 6 people. It was just private enough that we could really enjoy having our own little party, and the service was top flight like it always is at Napa Rose. On another trip I have also enjoyed the chef's counter when it was just my family of 4. That is more of a meal where you are interacting with the kitchen and its staff as you are seated in a single row along a counter that faces the kitchen. So it is hard to chat with any one in your party unless they happen to be seated right next to you. So if you want to enjoy the company of a group, get a regular restaurant table and you will still have a fabulous meal and a memorable experience.
