Naming and Subscribing of threads

Naming: when starting a new thread here on the cruise meets board please put the date at the very beginning of the title. That will help make it easier for others to find you.

Subscribing: Once you have found a thread for your cruise the best way to keep finding it is to subscribe to it. This can be done by following these few easy steps:

• With the thread open click on the drop down box in the upper right corner that says Thread Tools
• Pick Subscribe to this Thread
• Pick the option you want (no e-mail, instant e-mail, daily or weekly updates). Please note that if it is a very active thread you would most likely want no e-mail.
• Then click the add subscription box.
• After that whenever you want to find your thread just go to UserCP (found at the upper left of the main bar above) and your subscribed threads will be there). Just click on the one you want to go to and you are in.

Thank you so much for posting these new guidelines with the date in the front of the thread title...can I ask to further add to the guidelines that a date format could be established....something like

MM/DD/YY

or

YYYY/MM/DD

I think if we can keep the date format consistent it would be even easier to keep track of cruise meet threads. Hope you consider this!!!

I so agree. If everyone did the same mm/dd/yyyy format, it would be easier for new people to find the thread. With some of the titles, the search does not pick it up. Thanks mmouse37. My DH loves your cookie jar by the way, he told me that will be my Christmas gift, my very own "JAR".
