I sent an email to someone and had to include a name to get it through. Some people do not like their name used when I send them a copy of a post. Is there any way to turn this off? Thanks!

LAWalz23, while you do need to include A name to send out a link, nobody says WHAT name you need to enter in that box. ;)

Since there isn't a way to "turn off" this feature, if your recipient doesn't want their name used, I would suggest that you simply specify an alternate identity.

Thanks, Chris C. Not the answer I was hoping for but an answer so I can deal with it.

I was thinking LAWalz23, there is another option for you in this situation.

Just copy the address from your browser and paste it into your choice of email programs. That way whomever you decide to send it to has absolutely no name/email reference on the boards.

Another "plus" to this option is that YOU have a record of sending it.

Thanks Chris C, I never thought of that option. And it sounds like a good idea.
