Names In Autograph Books

Today, I went into a restroom at Epcot and found an autograph book on the floor in one of the stalls. I certainly didn't want to leave it there where something bad could happen to it. I took it to Guest Relations so they could put it in the lost and found.

The autograph book was full of autographs and had a little girl's name on the front, but no address inside. The CM told me that most of the time, no one took the time to find the lost and found and claim autograph books. If, however, it had an address inside, they would send it to the person who lost it. Gosh, I'd have been willing to send it. It seems such a shame that the little girl will most likely not get her book back.

Parents, take a minute and put your address inside your child's autograph book.

Great suggestion! We have never lost one, but we have put our address in them just in case.

Just when you think you thought of everything there's always something new!GREAT suggestion! Thanks :sunny:

We always write our kids names & the name of the resort/room number we are staying at on the inside cover. This way, by the chance one is lost, maybe it could be returned during our stay.

Great tip...I tell all of my clients this but carry it a bit further:

write name/address on disposable cameras
If you are pin trading, get a plastic "name/ticket" pouch. Decorate a piece of paper on one side with Disney stickers and put your name/address on the back.

I also read on the theme park board that parents should take an index card with your name and address and use it as the first picture on every digital card you use!!

Disney is great about mailing everything back

I do that with everything!

I make address labels and include my cell number and put them on all autograph books and my photopass cards.

What a wonderful idea!! I would have never thought of that, and I shudder to think how my grandson would be if he lost his pirate:
Thanks again~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks for the advice. My DD did once leave her autograph book in a bathroom stall at Disneyland. Luckily she remembered and it was still there 5 minutes later.

I will remember address inside for next time!

We always use the sticky return addresses for all the things we take along to the park, (including cameras) you never know when something can get left behind. Disney people are really nice about turning found things in to the lost and found! My son had his autograph book mailed back to us last trip! Thank you , who ever it was, let me throw some pixie dust your way!

Wow! Just when I think I am completely prepared, I find another great idea! Thank you so much!

Hadn't thought that far actually. Definately will put it in. Thanks a bunch!! :thumbsup2

you know I thought I thought of the sticker adresses, but I guess not. I use return address labels on "everything"
