(a) Top Five places to eat around US/IOA/CityWalk

and

(b) Top Five things to See in each two parks!

Our fam of 5 (kids aged 11,9, and 5) will visit the "dark side" lol for the first time this summer, and I want to be sure our planning includes the all the prime highlights!

1) Eateries:

Finnegin's at US (best fish & chips I've ever had)
Confisco's at IOA for their grilled chicken cesear salad on flatbread with kalamata olives and fried pepperocinis
Blackened redfish at O'Bryan's (CityWalk)
Bleu cheese chicken pasta or baby back ribs at NBA City (CityWalk)
Burger or cobb salad at Hard Rock Cafe

2) Rides @ US (caveat: I don't do coasters, but DH does and says Mummy's great)

Shrek 4-D
Terminator
MIB
Jaws
Earthquake (although I get tired of all the movies before the ride)

Rides @ IOA (same caveat as above. DH would say Hulk and DD)

Top 5 to see at IOA, Spiderman, Hulk, Popeyes Bilge Rat Barges, JP River, Mystic Fountain.

Top 5 at Universal, MIB, Mummy, Shrek, Horror Make Up and Jaws.

5 is NOT enough.

I realize it can be hard to limit yourselves to a magic "5", but I figure that with enough folks contributing of diverse opinions, I'll have the best of the best covered, and then, whatever we manage to get to beyond that will be icing on the cake, LOL!

ioa: dr doom, dueling dragons, river adventure ride, cat in the hat, spidey

park food: crab dip at confisco's, gyro at fireeater's, bucket of shrimp at chez alcatraz, ribs at enchanted oak or thunder falls terrace, anything at mythos, bangers and mash at finnegan's.

citywalk food: tchoup chop at RPR, Emeril's, Hard Rock, anything on the menu at Margaritaville. I should have held my wedding at M'ville.

IOA: the only thing I don't enjoy is storm force. mystic fountain, poesidon's fury, camp jurassic and the discovery center, caro-seuss-el...and of course, the the headliner atrractions.

US: jaws is sentimental, MIB, mummy, shrek, twister, T2

ok, there's some 6's in there.

Food: Mythos (at IOA), Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, and Emeril's Restaurant. My fifth choice is split dependent upon if you're staying on property: Jake's American Bar at RPR and Sal's Market Deli at PBH. I'm not familiar with any of the restaurants at HRH.

5 things at IOA: Spiderman, JPRA, Duddley Do-Right's Ripsaw falls, Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges, and Dueling Dragons.

5 things at USF: Shrek, Mummy, MIB, Terminator 2:3D, and the Horror Make-up Show.

Top 5 where U may want to eat:

Romantic = Latin quarter (dark place with candles)

Energetic= Hard Rock Cafe (loud rock and roll music and a car turning around, and the place is located next to the entrance to UF where the fun continues....

Pasta lover = Pastamore (best pasta I`ve tasted at USF)

To eat inside the park, the cave edited ---edited---is good,
I mean Mythos restaurant. (Thanks Damo)
And also the other cave where they have dinosaurs bones is good ,too!
(The other cave or place is the one where you can see a dinosaur being born from an egg. ( last time I was there I waited a long time for this) They have games for children.The place has an elevator and stairs.)

I like to eat inside caves! LOL

To eat inside the park, the cave next to the roller coaster ice and fire is good,

It's a tree, Enchanted Oak Tavern. I wish they'd put some more seating outside for watching DD.

Or maybe you mean Mythos?

They are both cave-like. Not sure which cave you mean with dinosaur bones though.

We are usually visiting/babysitting our Great Gramps, so we get takeout or groceries on our way home, but out of the restaurants we've snacked at...

1 Finnegans shrimp appetizer and Jameson & Coke, love the cool air
2 The pizza place in NY Univ, good and hot and cheaper to get a whole pizza
3 Comic Cafe at IOA for chicken strips
4 The lemon icee thing between MIB and Horror Make Up at Univ I think.
5 Love the watermellon from the stands, but not the hot pretzels

(did not like the Nascar cafe or the food at the Spiderman breakfast at Confiscos, but the character interaction was great and their lunch menu looked good)
