Name the funniest and least funniest SNL cast member ever

Can't stand him, have never laughed at anything he has done.
Didn't you see the skit where he played a synchronized swimmer? He and his brother (not sure who that actor was) were trying to get men's synchronized swimming into the olympics. But they were having difficulty because for one thing "Lawrence couldn't swim" (MS character). They showed him swimming/dancing with a nose plug on. :rotfl:

Or what about the skit where he was playing the owner of a whoopie cushion company that was being sued? OMG! That was hysterical!

My favorite is a tough choice between Will Farrell and Dana Carvey. WF *might* get it simply because of the Gene Frenkle skit. "Guys. I'm telling you. You're gonna want that cowbell." :rotfl2:

So many funny ones-Gilda Radnor, Chevy Chase, Dana Carvey, ect.

Not funny at all- Charles Rocket, small black haired man that was there at same time as Charles Rocket, and the guy who played the goat boy. See, they were so bad I can't even remember their names.

Does anybody remember their names?

Does anybody remember their names? :confused3

Funniest--pretty much the entire original cast and those that came shortly there after.

Least funniest--pretty much everyone that is on now.

AAACK...the ever popular Jim Breuer....love his stand up. I know he is on Sirius now.

Funniest: the ORIGINAL cast (all of them)

Least Funny: everyone after them

Funniest: Gilda Radnor, followed by the rest of the original cast

Not funny: Chris Farley

I usually tape the show so I can fast forward thru the bad skits, it just isn't that funny anymore, but every now and then they still come up with a good one. I think it was last year when Janet Jackson hosted, they did a skit about cork soakers at a winery, :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:, it was a classic.

:thumbsup2 :lmao:

Eddie Murphy as Mr. Rodgers cracked me up. Dana Carvey as Church Lady had me in stiches. Two that come to mind.

i loved it when eddie murphy said this is how you awnser a phone in my neighborhood......WHAT!.....WHO IS IT! :rotfl2:

Funniest: Chris Farley or Will Farrell (or about 12 other people) :confused3
Unfunniest: Jimmy Fallon or any member of current cast

Funniest: Phil Hartman, Bill Murray, Billy Crystal, A. Whitney Brown

Least Funny: Anthony Michael Hall, Colin Quiinn, Robert Downey Jr., Terry Sweeney

Funniest: Phil Hartman/Cheri O'Teri :happytv:

Least Funny: Julia Louise Dryefus (jeez, I'm dating myself)

I love SNL now and have from the beginning.

There isn't anyone I think I really disliked, but there have been people all along who get introduced, but I never see them in anything I remember. For instance, in recent shows, what skits do Finesse Mitchell or Andy Samberg do?

I can't come up with one name I think is funniest. I adored the original cast and the cast with Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo. Later on, came Victoria Jackson (Tounces the Drive Cat), then Mike Myers and Adam Sandler. And I think the stars of the current cast (i.e., the ones who actually appear somewhere besides the opening credits) are stellar.

I laugh my head off at Darrell Hammond doing Dick Cheney or Chris Matthews. I think almost everything Amy Poehler does is great (ever see the "Trainwreck" skit where she plays Anna Nicole Smith? LOL!). I love Maya Rudolph doing "America's Next Top Model" and Condi Rice.

And so forth. Can you tell I'm a fan?

BTW, isn't it Will Ferrell?

Funniest for me: Dana Carvey. I just adore his impressions and I miss Church Lady. I also loved Dennis Miller and Phil Hartman.

Least funny: David Spade comes to mind. I've just never got him.

I loved Phil Hartman and Gilda Radner two comic geniuses IMHO

I haven't watched in so long but the least funniest to me was Dan Akroyd

Funniest Was Dan Ackroyd; Bass-o-matic was a classic.

Least Funniest Chevy Chase; Could not even do the news.

The show was never the same after the original cast left. They were the best.

Funniest...Original Cast
Least funny... Cheri Oteri
