Name on Special Edition Magicbands?

I am lucky enough to have a friend that picked up a castle Magicband for me in February. I am now curious as to whether Disney will personalize it for me? Or should I just do it myself?

That is one thing that I wish I had on my LE Haunted Mansion band.

I'm considering taking a nice, thin, permanent marker in a bright color and putting my name on it anyway

Do you think someplace like Things Remembered in the mall might engrave them?

As they're plastic & microchipped...I'm not sure? I don't have any near me (but let me know if you find out!).
