N. VA/DC area residents Help!

I have to travel across the Cabin John/American Legion bridge tomorrow. 1st headed south around 6 a.m. & the headed north again around noon. My Streets program tells me the road is closed due to construction. What is the detour?

If it's closed, it's news to me. Granted, I don't travel that way a lot, but that would be a pretty major closure to not know about.

According to Streets it's closed. I vaguely remember hearing something on the radio about it but didn't pay attention. Didn't think it was relevent - I live in the same county you do. I suspect they will send us down ramp & back onto the highway. I don't think the bridge itself is closed. That would be HUGE.
