If you book a MYW pkg and plan to split your stay between resorts, WHY would it be necessary for Disney to issue MYW tix seperately? Confused? Me too. Let me explain.

Our 7 day/6 night trip: One night at CR. 5 nights at BC. Instead of issuing 7 day MYW tix, Disney told my AAA travel agent that they'd have to issue a 1 day MYW ticket and then another 6 day MYW ticket. Does this sound right? Disney rep says that's the only way they can do the tix when splitting your stay AND having a pkg.

Does your pkg include dining? If it does, then yes, you will need to buy a 1 day ticket for the 1 night reservation.

However, if you aren't adding dining to your pkg, then you can do the pkg for the longer stay, and get tickets for an extra day (or more... the tickets don't have to be for the same number of days like they used to) and just book the shorter stay as a room only reservation.

For example:
Book five nights at BC as a pkg, and add 7 day MYW tickets. Then book a seperate reservation for one night at CR as a room only.

I've found that AAA agents don't always give out good info. Your agent probably thinks the pkgs are the same as in the past, where the UPH had to be purchased for the length of stay, no more, no less.

Good luck!
