MYW tickets and no expiration option -- can it be added on....

after you started using the tickets. For instance, you go to Disney with a 7 day pass and your child gets very ill. Neither one of you uses say 4 days on the passes. Could you go and add on the no expiration option before the 14 day expiration hits? Or would Disney just say tough luck?? That would seem very harsh to me.
 
Someone posted that the no expiration option could be added on later. However, they would charge you based on the original number of the days the ticket was good for, not the number of days left.
 
That's what I've heard too DisneyJunkie. Still it sets up the potential for unhappy people. Say a family has to leave 3 days early and they have 10 day passes. They're not going to want to pay the extra $100 at that point to save those tickets. We may see some tweaking of this system once they actually launch it.

I don't think they're going to alter it. I don't personally find it unreasonable to pay the fee for your original number of days.

Not to mention, paying the $100 is way better than losing out on the money if they expired, as well as having to buy NEW tickets the next time you go. :)
