I am trying to decide between the 7 day base tickets and the 10 day non-expire plus water park option.

Choice A:
1. Purchase 4, 7 day base MYW tickets ( 2 adults (my mom might be coming with us but I don't want to jinx it by talking about it), and two kids
Disney web site price:
adults - $199 each plus tax
child - $160 plus tax
total with tax $764.68US

Choice B:
1. Purchase my mom the 7 day base ticket ($199US plus tax)
and buy me and the kids the 10 day non expire plus water park option
total with tax for these 4 tickets $1053.34US

difference of $288.66 US would get the kids and I (for next trip)
3 park days plus 5 waterpark days
So what do you think I should do?
Also, hoping to go 10/2007 for MNSSHP. Wondering if it would be warm enough for water parks then??

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Are there any other options that I have not thought of? I am not sure about ticket prices since last time we only did 2 park days and just bought the 2d/1p tickets. This time we will definately be in the parks for 7 days.
Thank you

Get the 10 day. It is almost like having another trip paid for.

You will want to hit the water parks in October. It is still very hot.

21 Day Unlimited...admission to EVERYTHING is included, but it's an expiring pass. There's a 14 day as well:)

Still WAY cheaper than a Premium AP:)

You can get them through www.discountorlandovacation.com Just do a search for 21..

HTH!!

If you're intending to go back more than once, then go for the non-expiring passes.

Two of your Choice Bs is 'sort of equivalent' to three Choice As, plus you get the water park options.

As for the weather for October, we just came back from 10 days on Oct. 10. The weather was 100% humidity, 88 to 94 degrees during the day, slightly cooler during the dark times. The water parks would be a refreshing break from the other parks, especially if you have kids.

I would go with the 10 day non-expiring passes in your case. If you did get to the water parks this time and set aside a whole day for water parks and Disney Quest, you will end up with 4 leftover park days instead of 3 for next time.

The advantages of a long non-expiring pass are lost if you have to buy a new pass to finish the second vacation.

But if you need more days, it usually works out well if you buy a new pass for the entire second vacation and use leftovers from both vacations to cover a third vacation.

9, 10, and most 8 day vacations are better done with expiring passes.
