MYW Dining question

If I'm eating with friends that I'm not traveling with, and we both have the MYW dining plan, can we request seperate checks so the credits can be taken off each of our plans? Also, if I want to pay cash, and they want to use credits, how does that work?

Originally, I wasn't going to get the dining plan, and ignored all the info going around about it. Then, I changed my mind so now I'm playing catch up on all the info.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
