Mythos no longer on OpenTable.... are others following suit? What are they using?

We LOVED (lovedlovedlovedloved!!!) being able to make reservations throughout the parks and CityWalk using OpenTable.

But..... Mythos no longer appears on the list of available restaurants. :-/ Is this a new development? Is there another website/app that I should be using?

We ran into that our last trip. Seems nexttable.com is where they're now going at Uni. It wasn't greatly reliable for us since they'd just made the switch

Well, that's disappointing. I used to be able to just open the OpenTable app and make the reservations. It appears that NexTable forces you to visit each restaurant's website to make reservations. That's incredibly inconvenient. Ugh. Wonder why they switched?

Everything at CityWalk was showing nothing available from around 5:45pm to 9:30pm during our 6 days. However, we never waited more than 25 minutes for a table when we walked up and got on the list. It just didn't seem they'd integrated their systems real time with it. Also, we were able to make next night ressies for Antojitos by walking up. Hopefully, it will improve....

If you want a Mythos reservation, go through the UOR website. If you go to the double-T company, it also does restaurant reservations but not for Mythos. Very confusing.

yep - I fat fingered it. One too many t's and it was very confusing

So, I just went to about 4 different web sites (including this one, thanks!) and Universal, and others, and called two phone numbers, tried two online reservation sites, and 20 minutes later made my reservation to Mythos! Wow! That was hard! What finally worked was 407-224-4012 which went to a Universal Reservations call center, answered and handled immediately. I don't know how to do it on nextable.com; it looks like the only signup I found was for restaurant owners.

It looks to me like you go to the universalorlando.com and go to their Mythos page, you can make your ressie via nextable using the "reserve now" button. I only walked through until it came time to book the table (it goes out 30 days, and we are going in June), but it looks like it works pretty well. Also, they ask for a cell number, so it looks like they text you reminders during your park day.

We have never made a reservation. We find they normally open at 11 am so we get there between 11-11:45 and maybe wait no more than 10 minutes.

Only one menu and unless it is PEAK Season, Mythos very often closes well before the park does with its last seatings around 330-4pm .

you can still use open table for the resort restaurants but this is very inconvenient and disappointing imo.

Is there a list of restaurants available to reserve online through Nextable (or Opentable)? I see that Confisco Grill is still on opentable. What about Lombard's Seafood grille? Any Citywalk restaurants available for online reservations? I can't even figure out how to do a search for nextable??

It is exceptionally INconvenient to have to navigate the UO website, browse to the particular restaurant, find the link, navigate THAT system, and finally (hopefully) make a reservation.

This is a very disappointing change, IMO.

i hear you on that!
when i am in the park, i want my apps to work on everything for me.
it's a nuisance to have to go through the UO site and go thru the system at that time.

Usually we'll try to make reservations a few hours in advance. Something like: "Hey, let's ride MiB and the Simpsons a few more times and then head back over to IOA. Get a table at Mythos in an hour or two?"
