Is it difficult to get into Mythos without priority seating? Do you recommend getting priority seating for early October?

For lunch we've been able to just walk in--even during the busy season. Of course we stay on site and can just show our room key for next available seating. It never hurts to make a PS. Making a PS would also assure you that Mythos will be open. They sometimes close early.

If you are set on eating there, a PS would not hurt. I am staying onsite and still made a priority seating for my anniversary.

I didn't realize I could show my room key for next available table. Does that work at many of the restaurants. This will be my first time at Universal. Any don't miss restaurants? I am staying at Portofino's.

I've only made reservations at lunch for large parties, mostly for the folks on this board! Otherwise I've just walked in.

MYTHOS is by far my favorite restaurant in Universal Orlando. Lombards Landing is my favorite in Universal Studios. In Portofino I've only done breakfast at Trattoria del Porto which was AWESOME. I'm still determined to do Mama Della's but still haven't made it there.

As for the perks of being an onsite guest, this is from our usoinfo site:

1) Universal ExpressSM Ride Access at both Universal Orlando theme parks
2) Free onsite transportation to and from the theme parks and CityWalk
3) Priority seating at select Universal Orlando restaurants
4) Package delivery to your hotel room
5) Use of hotel room key card to charge purchases

Have a great trip!

We just ate at Lombards Thursday for lunch with no wait, Mama Dellas for Thursday dinner no wait, and Mythos for Friday lunch with no wait. We did not use PS for any of them. All were spectacular as usual. We also did Tchoup Choup for Friday dinner and Delfino for Saturday dinner. When I get caught up here at work I'll post a day-by-day trip report with the details. Everything was great this trip!!

Welcome Back Dave! You ate at all my favorites. Glad your trip was great! Can't wait to read all about it. :)
