I know there is a meet and greet for the power rangers at MGM at certain times of the day. Anyone know if they've added any of the Mystic Force rangers yet? My 4 yr old would love to see one.

Yes - they have a PR meet and greet. It is at scheduled times during the day. They all ride out in a PR vehichle, and then there are normally 4 (maybe 5) lines formed to meet and greet. This is very popular, and folks line up early. There are usually CMs out in advance to tell you what PR will be at which location. It is in the back of the park near the entrance to Lights, Motor Action - the Streets of America.

I'm not sure which rangers are which - so I can't answer your specific question!

My Great nephew is coming in 2 1/2 weeks, and he is sooo excited about meeting them!

They are also in the parade....

Earlier this month the Pink and/or yellow Mystic Force Power Rangers have been at MGM.

I hope they have a Mystic Ranger everyday. My 4 yr old saw the power rangers last summer and informed me that he doesn't want to meet them again unless they have one of the new ones. I think he is a bit afraid of them although he LOVES power rangers - but the appeal of seeing a new Mystic ranger is outweighing his fear I guess!

we just got back so i went to the experts my 2 boys ages 6 & 8 and they assure me that the PINK ranger was a Mystic force ranger, They did not see the yellow one but that does not mean he was not out on a mission...

There has been a pink ranger for some time... is there a "new" pink ranger?

We will have to go on a mission this weekend and see what we can find out. I have done my Power Ranger research, and it looks like the Mystic Force "girl" rangers - blue, pink and white - wear white pants with a tunic type thing - so they should be pretty easy to distinguish from the rest if the costumes are true to the show. The "boy" rangers have straight stripe down the left and right side...

Gotta do my PR research before my DGreatNephew gets here!

Were there only 5 out for the meet & greet? I was hoping they were adding the yellow MF to the 5 they already had, but it sounds like they replaced the pink time force ranger for the MF.

When we were there on the 11th there was only the five no yellow one....I double checked with my "experts" and they assure me the pink was a mystic force as it has some kinda special eyes and a cape.. that onlythe mystic force one has....

My boys also say the pink mystic force has a black shade shaped like a butterfly on her eyes...
if that helps at all...

We were just in WDW from 3/3 - 3/10 (2006). We did *not* see a Mystic Force Ranger and my 5 year old is an expert. LOL. There was a pink ranger and we have her autograph - the one we saw wasn't a Mystic Force ranger, she was a Time Force Ranger (you can tell by her mask). I just double checked my son's autograph book and it does indeed say "Pink Time Force" (that's how she signs). If there are Mystic Force Rangers, then they are very new! My son will be really bummed to hear that they added them right after we were there - oh well!

I have a tip -if you want your child to get recognition from the rangers, have them wear Power Ranger shirts. I noticed the extra attention when we were getting autographs and pictures, but even more so during the parade. My sons both had on PR shirts and the rangers (who were walking) came right up to them and the pink ranger bumped fists with them. Then, the red ranger, who was riding in the car, pointed to them. It was a great moment!!

My son, our resident Power Ranger expert, helped me with this image...

The silver & blue ranger is the "Lunar Wolf Ranger" from an older Power Ranger series. I think Wild Force. He signs "Lunar Wolf"

The Green Ranger is "Cam" from Ninja Storm

The White Ranger is "Trent" from DinoThunder

The Red Ranger is "Jack" from SPD (Space Patrol Delta - the one RIGHT before Mystic Force)

The Pink Ranger is a Time Force Ranger

We used the autograph book to double check who was who. Hope this helps, even a little bit! :)

Thanks for the identification. I have to get this stuff memorized before April 8th.

Thanks Ruttie for the info on the cape....that's good news! I saw that she had a cape on the website I looked them up on... I'm learning! Geesh..... this is worse than Pokemon identification - LOL!

I did not think we saw any new rangers when we walked through while they were out... (2/26). DD and I will go check it out this weekend! Sounds like the new Pink Ranger is there now!

We have not yet gotten any autographs - my DD9 wants to wait until Kier (great nephew) is with her to do it. She is not into PR, but does like getting autographs, and knows that I have to have the photos!

I did get a photo of the Pink Ranger alone, and the Red Ranger (aka Jack) with my 81 year old mother and 57 year old sister in December. Too funny! I am told that Kier laughed very hard when he saw that picture and said - NO WAY, you met him?

I have a great graphic from the Design board here on the "Dis" of the Power Rangers, and I am going to print out and transfer onto a T-Shirt for him. I am sure we will purchase a shirt for him there as well!!!

You are very welcome!

I had to laugh at the Pokemon comment - I think they are HORRIBLE to try and figure out and we've only just begun with all of that. Then there's Sonic. I think I'll opt out of knowing all of this stuff in the future! Ha!

Have a great trip! :smickey:

My boys met those Power Rangers pictured above last May... and they will FREAK OUT if there are now Mystic Force rangers! :thumbsup2 If anyone has a picture of one please post!!!! :)

35 day boogie!!!! :cool1:

Any more updates would be helpful! My son though doesn't seem to interested in meeting the PINK mystic force ranger :rolleyes2 I think he'd rather meet one of the boy ones.

I thought it would take me forever to learn which ranger is which too but I've been watching since Time Force so I've got those guys down. The ones before that though I still get confused!

This thread is excellent, we don't get Power Rangers in the uk until about a year after you guys. In our last visit DS bought loads of PR stuff and showed off to his mates. We haven't got Mystic force here yet so I think we need a bigger case!

Here is a great website to learn your PRs. I had to refer to this when I was putting together a scrapbook for my DS. It lists all the different "forces" and the characters within.

Vida is the name of the Pink Mystic Force Ranger.

My DD is 9, and she has been "into "Pokemon" since she was 2! We started collecting all the little figures, and to this day she goes through phases with them - plus the Gameboy games, trading cards, etc!

Our "trip" is PERMANANT- we live less than an hour from WDW. My sister is bringing her 6 year old grandson in April, so that is the "Trip" I am planning for now!!!!

Ranger Central is a great website and it definitely helped me wind my way through the characters and storylines that my son seems to have no problem filing away. I got tired of the conversations where he'd be telling me all about what the Red Ranger had done that day on the show and I'd say something like, "So Conner really knew how to capture those guys, huh?" and he'd roll his eyes and say, "MOM! Conner was the Red Ranger on DinoThunder. This is SPD. JACK is the Red Ranger!"

Another great site, especially for those of us trying to keep track with the current Mystic Force guys (and the tv schedule) is Disney's Jetix site: http://tv.disney.go.com/jetix/mysticforce/index.html

They have great pictures of all the rangers so I can identify them without seeming so clueless.
