Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club

Hello.
Looking at Disney world for my family of 8 (myself hubby and 6 kids who will be 11,9,8,5,3,1 when we go)
Want to stay off property s it is much cheaper for us . Looking at the Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club seems like grEat prices and lots of room for all of us of stretch out.
We will rent a car so getting to and from the parks is a non issue.

Curious if anyone has stayed recently and want to hear the good and bad !!
Looking at going either October or December 2020 !

We got an amazing deal at Mystic Dunes on hotel tonight a few months ago. Minor glitches aside, I’d easily go back. Amazing suite, grounds, nice pool.

We stayed here in 2014. The units are nice, were recently upgraded when we were there 5 years ago, and the resort is very large. However, they do charge a nightly resort fee so be aware. They also have a very hard timeshare sell at the front desk.

If you are looking for lots of room, beautiful grounds, no parking fees or resort fees that is even closer to WDW, check into the Sheraton Vistana Resort. We love it there and have stayed 5 times, soon to be 6.

We stayed there in October 2018 and returned in October 2019 and my husband asked if we could buy there lol. He likes it a lot. We are DVC members so we have stayed at many deluxe resorts over the last 20 years, so that should tell you something. He likes the peacefulness of getting away from the bubble. We were there with his men’s basketball team so we had 4 villas. We will stay there again many times for sure.

2 bedrooms are a very nice size and a great price. Booking directly thru them you will have nightly resort fee and only allow 4 connections to internet at a time. If you can find an owner there are no resort fees and no restrictions on internet hook-up. The only negative was the very strong smell of bleach we had on one of our visits. We prefer Bonnet Creek for location and amenities....but would not hesitate to stay at Mystic Dunes again in the future.

Have stayed there 3 times and it has been an amazing experience each time. Rooms are very big and the grounds are very well kept.

My son in law is looking to stay here and I just called Mystic Dunes yesterday to ask about their daily resort fee, which I heard went up. Currently the fee is $28.32 per day, which is up from the last time I called them a few months ago. I don't know how the fee works and if it applies to every reservation because they waive the fee when you're an owner or book through an owner. I'm calling our timeshare people tomorrow (RCI or Interval) to see if a reservation through them will waive the fee. I believe if you book directly through Mystic Dunes (Diamond resorts) and not as a timeshare the fee applies.

I just booked three nights there through Priceline for $56 per night - so glad to hear that it's a nice place! I would have preferred to stay in the Disney bubble, but this is SO much more affordable.

I'm an owner at Mystic Dunes, We love the place. Its quiet clean and convenient. Walmart is a few miles down the road, we always do the grocery pickup. Its nice to be able to sprawl out and relax when your not in the parks. You can cook meals and do laundry when needed. We can't wait to go back home this October
