We are staying here next week and was wondering what it is like? Does anyone know how long it takes to get to the parks? What restaurants are around it?

Nice resort. Free mini-golf. Breakfast every morning at the pool but there is a fee if you're not an owner. 10 - 15 minutes to the parks. A little longer to get back if traffic is heavy. No restaurants right next to it, but it's a very short drive to 192 with the bazillion restaurants there.

From certain buildings, you can see the Disney fireworks from the upper balconies on the back side. We spent New Years Eve watching them there. Saw all three Disney parks, Universal, and some other display that we never identified.
