Mypoints question

I joined mypoints a while back and I finally have enough points to cash out for a gc. I would like to cash out for a Rainforest Cafe gc for our upcoming trip, but I'm not sure how long it takes to receive the gift card after you request it. Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to receive the gc? If it will take too long I will request a gc for a local restaurant.

Hi Erin, Been with MYPoints for a few years now, each vendors gc takes different amount of time could be a few weeks sometimes longer hard to say. If I do Cracker Barrel Restaurant I usually get it in about 10 days but that's always been the fastest.

I've cashed out three times for "Landry" GC to use at Yak & Yeti. The cards arrived as quick as two weeks, but once was closer to six weeks.

It took my Landry's (for TREX) about two weeks.

I just recently cashed out for the $50 Landrys and received it in exactly 2 weeks. I wouldn't wait if you really want the Landrys-I had to wait 3 weeks for the $50 cards to come back in stock before I could cash out last time.

I haven't shopped through MyPoints in over 6 months...hope to again sometime this year..I only do the quick click throughs and then cash out with a $10 or $25 gc about once every month or month and 1/2 I have never waited to have a $50. gc I go for the Cracker Barrel Restaurant because we like the food and the whole atmosphere.

When I get on line every morning I just go through it and during the day check the emails from the site. Sometimes I have done a survey. 5 points at a time can add up. Fill out the registration area, download the tool bar, print coupons it will add up. If you want a magazine subscription don't forget to go through the site. Anytime you are going to buy anything remember to check the site. I know there's a way to register a cc that you use for purchases for certain stores but that doesn't work for me. Be patient it will add up. Also look for the "promos" Spin/Win etc. I had signed up for a lot of sites and find this the most user friendly and doesn't waste my time.

I do the e-mails clicks, any 5 pt questions on the site, any specials (like the current spin game) and I do two web searches a day.
