MyPoints Email from Kathy

I got two emails from Kathy at MyPoints. One that says, "Make your day...reward yourself?" ... "Click now and we'll give you 50 Points — FREE — to boost your balance." Woo Hoo 50 points. The other one says "Earn Points towards your next reward! ... To help you get there, we're giving you 5 Points!" Woo Hoo another 5 points.

I got these on Saturday but just clicked today. You have to respond within two weeks.

I got the two emails too, and I was kind of confused. One said help replenish your balance, since your recent cash in. I haven't cashed in, in a long time. I checked my account and nothing is missing. When I clicked on the 50 point email link it said congratulations you just earned 5 points, not 50?

ErinC - the exact same thing happened to me! I haven't recently cashed in, either, but I will take however many points they want to give me! I only got 5 points as well, though.

I got the same emails also.I only got 5 points for the 50 point email.I went and checked my account total and found that no points have been credited since October 25th.I sent mypoints an email telling them how many points that I should have earned through th bonus mail(95 since last Friday) and I am awaiting their answer.So I suggest you guys contact them in order to get the points they offered.Right now 50 points are alot to miss out on.

I just emailed My Points because I too received the same email from Kathy. My email does not have a link for 50 points - it only has one for 5 points. Did you have a special link for the 50 points? I emailed them to ask for clarification and to try and get my 50 points as mentioned in the message. I wonder if some of the emails were messed up. I'll post a reply if I get one.

btw, i actually had some time tonight to double check points at MyPoints, and when i saw this thread, i immediately went back to my email from Kathy.

the email i have says, click below for 5 points. i did that before already.
i thought what the heck, let me click it again.
and this time it gave me 50 pts.

so everyone who hasn't gotten 50 pts, maybe try clicking it again!

Thanks for the heads up, Disneyberry! I tried clicking on my e-mail for 50 points again, as you suggested. And this time, I was awarded 50 points! I'll have to check and make sure they actually get credited though. Thanks for the tip!

I went back and re clicked it also and the 50 point blue screen came up.It still hasnt been credited to my account.This is the answer that I received to my points not being credited from October 26 till today:

We would like to apologize for the fact that your account has not been
credited in a more timely manner for the offers you recently received or
participated in at the MyPoints web site. Due to an internal technical
concern we have encountered a delay in posting Points to some accounts.
This concern will be resolved in the next 3-5 business days at which
time your account balance will reflect the correct number of Points.

I am still waiting for my reply from My Points. I had already clicked on the 5 point link a couple of times when I received the email, and it still only registered for 5 points. I guess I am one of the people who is having trouble collecting points, because they haven't posted any points for the past few days, and I am still waiting for them to credit me 171 points from purchases that have been sitting in the points to be posted in 10 days section of my account. It has been past 10 days and so I am assuming based on kellyla's email that many of us are experiencing technical difficulties with our accounts.

I just received my reply from My Points and they apologized for the error and said they would be crediting my account with the remaining 45 points during the next 5-10 business days. Hope everyone gets their points too!
