MyPoints and disneystore.com

Does anyone know if purchaes of Disney gift cards are eligible for the 3 MyPoints per dollar on disneystore.com? I was trying to find something that mentions it but couldn't find anything. Just wondering if maybe someone has tried it. Thanks

I've never bought any so I can not say for sure but I don't think so because when you click on the point value while on the mypoints site, a window does not pop up saying that the gift cards are eligable like it does for other sites.

I'm going to try this weekend; I need a Disney GC for my grand daughters birthday. Over the years I purchased GC's for Kohls, Home Depot and it didn't indicate that points would be credited for GC's but I did get the points;HD I did have to ask for after 30 days. I figure I've got nothing to lose. If the points are credited in a few days I will post here.

Hmmm... before I posted, I went to the mypoints site to check and when I clicked on the points for Kohl's, I got the pop up asying the GCs were eligable.

Well I hope both of you earn the points.

I emailed them last week and they said No... you will not get points for GC purchases at disney
