My World of Color Ears Worked at MNSSHP!!

Hi all - I don't know if it's been posted yet that World of Color ears work in Walt Disney World, but, apparently, they do! I wore a concept costume to MNSSHP last night - very subtle. I didn't expect to be recognized, but I was!! A castmember took one look at me and said, "You're a Disneylander!" And that is exactly what my costume was supposed to be! I wore my Tiger Lily shirt (I think it's from the Vault at DL's DTD - my sister gave it to me, so I'm not exactly sure), plus my World of Color ears. The best part was that I wore them during the fireworks show and my friend told me that they were flashing in time to the music!!! If I can get to another night show or fireworks (I'm here for the Tower of Terror race, so tonight is out), I'll test them again.

This is interesting! I wonder if they're testing them out. Are you sure they were definitely playing in time with the music? They should work anywhere with a regular pre-programmed setting, but the real "magic" is when they sync up with the nighttime shows. How cool if they're being organized for WDW!

I didn't see it myself, because I was wearing them, but my friend's a dancer, so I trust her ability to recognize that the lights on the ears were in sync with the music in the show. It could just have been a coincidence, but I understand that the ears were handed out on the DVC cruise and the ears were flashing in sync with a movie, so I'm sure Disney has lots syncing in the works.
