So last night my wife and I were laying in bed and she leans over to me and says " If you dont stop talking about DL so much and dont start giving me more attention then I want a divorce!" Im going to miss her.

My kids were the same way...until we started the 30 day countdown!!

Every time we saw the castle on TV, I'd lean over and whisper in my dd's ear, "we're going there".... drove her nuts!! Now, we're all excited!

Just come here and share the excitement and be understood by other "crazies"!

ROFL!!!!!!! I'm cracking up! My DBF tried something similar this weekend, he said "aren't we all just a little tired of Disney but we don't want to admit it?" So I polled the kids and it was a unanimous "NO". LOL

My DBF lives in Denver and I live in Tucson. I have recently become addicted to these boards. Whenever he asks me what I am doing I respond "nothing"...he just wouldn't understand.

DS11 even though when asked where do you want to go on vacation he says DL, but i don't want to talk about it!
my sister even though she is going next week!
my best friend , I have no idea why she does not go , she says she really wants to and has the financial means to do so!
even DS8 I think is bored, well at least the dog will listen!

DH wants to go to DL as much as I do, but he doesn't get my DISing. He says he is going through my laptop in the trash cause I am on it all the time (mostly doing this ). I am usually in the living room and I tell him we're just watching TV, what's the difference if I am on here or sitting there watching the TV/movie. He never has an answer. He just looks at me At least I am not holed up in the office!

Every time I see the year of a million dreams with the castle, I sigh and go "Disneyland" all kind of drawn out and in an awestruck tone. The funny thing is the castle that they show is Disneyworlds - but you get the picture. My son does the eye roll at me - but he was the one who wanted to be there for his birthday next month. Who's the crazy one now?

Thank goodness my DH just loves me through this. The last few nights I have been reading DL guidebooks to my kids for bedtime stories! At least they *will* know who Walt Disney is before we get there! The worst part is I am in charge of a large convention in 1 month and instead of doing what I should be doing...here I am again...dising! We have the convention every year and the last time I was at DL was 18 years ago!

That kind of sounds like my wife. Except the divorce part. I keep telling her what I've read on the boards and keep telling her about hotels etc. etc. It's just that it's been so long that her and I have been to DL and my DD and my DD to be have never been. Can't blame me for being Excited!! Actually first things first my new bundle of joy will be here in about two weeks.
