Hey guys. This may be a dumb question, but this is my first time ever having my waitlist actually go through, so I don't know if this is the norm. :confused3

I wanted to book two nights in a studio at VWL. I booked one night & then waitlisted the other. My waitlist went through & I got my second night. I just went onto the dvc website & noticed that they have both my nights but they have them as two different reservations. They each have their own resi number & it says "check in 10/5 & checking out 10/6" & then "checking in 10/6 & checking out 10/7"???? I don't get this? Is this just how they "write" it? Will I have to actually check out & then check back in? Both nights are a "deluxe studio" & if I remember correctly there's only one type of VWL studio, right?

Thanks guys. :)

We had a 1 night wait list come through at check in once but on the member site, under past reservations, it is listed as 2 separate reservations. We didn't have to check out/in or move rooms. I think it is just a technicality.

Typically MS will link them together and then you won't have to check out and in again. You may want to call just to verify they did that.

We've always had our waitlisted ressies linked by member services. That assures you don't have to switch rooms, and if you get the dining plan, you'll have it for all nights of your trip. You can unlink them if you don't want them connected, but I think that's pretty rare.
