My VMK character Scampi: looks like it has gone forever...hugs please...

I am having a panic attack, I cant log in with my main character, Scampi.

I've played her since VMK opened, usually every day. Last time was yesterday.

I get the log in screen, I type my details in, click log in and the screen just comes back up. No messages.

I tried some of my mules and they go in fine.

What do I do now? Please help me.

Did you try to get your password back from VMK ? I mean click on the forgot password link

that takes me to Manage Account status

but Scampi is NOT listed.


All my best rooms, clothes, pins, gone forever. I feel so sick and sad.

What should I do now?

Did you try forgot password ? But if someone has hacked your account and changed the email address I dont know what you can do (except contact VMK)

Awww Scampi!! I'm not sure what to say other than I know you're not the only person this has happened to. Sometimes the account comes back after a few days - hopefully it will in your case!

I know there's been a phone number tossed around on this board to speak with a live VMK person - I'll see if I can find it for you (but it's tough without our beloved search engine here )

Hi, This has happened to my friends account also. If you find that number could you share it with me so I can give it to him. He has not been able to get into his account for a month now.

welcome to my world, I lost four accounts the day of the weekend of the dark rides when they closed for enhancements. Vmk has done nothing, I have tried all the weblinks stated above and just like Fairy Dust, it comes up error or failed. All I got from VMK was if you deleted your account then it is gone. I have continued to send the original email and their stupid replies, my last one made reference to the if I deleted my account part. I said to them do you see anywhere in my email that I deleted my account? The accounts disappeared during enhancements. Still no answer and still no accounts. So if you do find the phone number please, please share it with me.

I thought some of you might understand how I feel as you play it too.

I am at a complete loss, I joined VMK on the very first day...how would you feel if you lost your main character? I'm a grown woman and I have been in tears over this. I know its not the "real world" but it still hurts.

Its pretty ironic as I have been helping loads of new players recently, buying them things at random, really enjoying another aspect of the game.

I had a break from VMK for about 4 months and had recently returned refreshed and started redecorating my rooms. I thought they looked great, not award winning, but good to me.

I spent hours getting the sword to come out for both pins. I was thrilled.

I won inferno many months ago from Fin's spin the generator, you had to get the 3 figure number. Remember that game?

So many VMK items, some Quest - I really am devastated.

I'm not sure I want to play another mule, knowing I lost my Scampi. Why couldn't it of been a mule?

Sorry to hear you weren't able to get everything worked out. I'd probably feel the same way if I lost my main character. I still don't understand how something like that could have happened.

i had the very same thing happen to me first part of January...tried everthing and nothing worked, so i created a new account and said oh well....nine days later just for grins i decided to try again and there I was good as new...must have been stuck in VMK limbo I guess...hope you are lucky like me!

If this happened to me I would feel the exact same way. I hope your character comes back soon...I will keep thinking good thoughts for you
