My very FIRST trip to WDW!!!..just one week left...start the countdown!!!

I leave out next Wednesday for my very first trip to wdw...this trip has been in the making for about 40 years...I live in CA so have gone to DL a billion times but never wdw....I wrote a poem about it and wanted to share...hope you like it

I had a dream that began long ago
of castles, a mouse, and fairydust aglow
I was only age 6, yes, just a mere girl
running around, flying pony tails and curls

I continued that dream well into my teens
even though my passion was now Shaun Cassidy and jeans

As I grew into adulthood and that dream seemed to fade
I would wish upon a star and each night I would pray
to believe and to trust that my dream would come true
I'd never give up!! NO!! That would never do.

You might me think me silly, for writing this rhyme
but I do believe, good things come in due time

So one week from today my dreams will take flight
I will soar using fairydust and with all of my might
I will fly through that castle filled with such glee
as a tear runs down my face, I'll be as happy as can be

I will stare at Walt's statue
I will hold Mickey's hand
I will stroll down main st.
I'm finally going to Neverland!

Im so excited I can barely contain myself..Hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving!!!
