My uncle has Walt's Autograph!!

My cousin called me today. She had taken on the job of organizing my uncles quite extensive autograph collection that he has just tossed into 4 large suitcases. for his entire 64 years he has collected autographs. He has Marilyn's, Elvis's, Pope John Paul, Sophia Lauren when she was really young... I knew about these and was mildly impressed. My uncle is a very unorganized and untidy individual... i knew eventually someone would take it upon themselves to assist him in organizing this very valuble mess. Well she came across an autographed photo of Walt Disney and called me immediately. It took all i could do not to hang up the phone and go to her home and wrestle it from her!! I told her to put in a good word for me!! she laughed, but i was serious!! Ahhhh... for pixie dust to come my way!! She said its probably worth a bundle... i don't think i would sell it at all. To valuble sentimentally to me...

what would you do??? I think i need to be REALLY nice to my uncle

Not to play "can you top this" - but I also have Walt's autograph! My grandmother and an aunt of mine lived only a few miles from Disneyland, and they were there for the opening of the park (how cooool would that have been?!! ) and they got his autograph! It's not a picture - it's just the autograph on a piece of paper. Now that I think of it --- I'm not sure where in the house it is at the moment!! I'll have to go look for it.

And I would never sell it!!!

I would never sell that autograph! It's deserving of a frame, and a story to pass on to the next generations! I would keep it in the family.
