My two problems for today...

When we were at DLR, we purchased some gold mickey ears and recieved the card. I traded my gold ears thinking, no problem, I have a card for some new ones. Well, today, I put in the code and it gave me a Happiest Celebration on Earth Pin. I said what? Looked at the card, nope, definitely says gold mickey ears. Has that ever happened to anyone and is there anything I can do. Would truly prefer the gold ears, LOL.

Next, today, I was getting the NPC credits on my son's character. I was checking his clothing, making sure i had everything logged on our family spreadsheet and he is missing a cowboy hat I had listed on our sheet that we had two cowboy hats and now we only have one. He is only six and never trades so I know that isn't it. I don't *have* to have the 2nd hat, but it would be nice to know where it went I guess this makes up for "finding" the princess costume on one of my mules the other day, lol

Hi Candy!

Are you still at DL? if so I would go back and tell them you input the code and what you got and ask them, I mean beg, for another card....if that does not work then the only thing left is to write VMK about it and see if they can make it right.


Lesson learned never trade until you have replacement in your inventory.

second question- yes that has happen to alot of people sometimes the items return sometimes they must go to the land of the lost items never to return!

Hey Mal. Nope, I am not at DL now Well, that is really scary about your stuff just dissappearing! I guess I need to go and place all of my "good" furniture in a room, LOL.

Thanks for the offer Captain, I appreciate it Now, I won't have to give my hat up to him (he who only plays VMK to change costumes on himself, LOL).

rofl, Dagny my DS6 does the same thing. He changes clothes, gets credits and then sits in his room and talks to himself. Ah, to be 6 again.....NOT

As for items disappearing from your inventory, yes it happens from time to time. That is why I keep most of my furniture in a skull rock room.

Still that does not always help as I had a shower disappear for about three weeks.

I only wish we had a place to store our clothes and pins. Like closets or books of some kind.

I have noticed that my clothes has disappeared. I now have another girl that holds my extra clothes. That way my stuff does not disappear. I agree I would love a closet and it would be nice if a complete set would stay together in your inventory.

Yes, I've had stuff disappear, but I was lucky it came back to inventory.

I'm at MK frequently. However, I don't need to buy a hat. I got my own virtual gold ears when I saw they had a toy story 2 hat for $7.99 and bought it for my son. If it was a penny press instead, it would be easy. We buy a pack gobstoppers for the red penny press each time we go.

I had another idea, what about calling DisneyLand CR and seeing if they can get you another card. It is worth a shot.

Last time I was at DL, after the tour, one of the other players had 4 Gold Ears cards. He only got 1 pair of ears, the other codes gave him pins, just like you. I didn't stick around to see if he reported it to the CM. I don't think so, because I got the impression he had "found" the cards and not actually purchased 4 hats.

If you are still looking for replacement gold ears, let me know. I may have an extra.
