I have twins, one boy and one girl and they are both turning into teenagers next month...
my dd has already started with the attitude! Anyway, they have not had a kids birthday party in a few years just a family party. So I thought since they are turning into teenagers, I should try to make it really special, but I have to be able to afford it. Bad time of year with Christmas being in December too, but I think they are worth it.
I have read some ideas on here - one person rented a motel room where they had a pool at the motel and ordered pizza, etc. That would work with one child, but I'm not sure how to arrange it with two. Obviously we would need two rooms. I did a search for rates at a local motel, and for 1 adult and 4 children, we exceeded the number of allowed people? That would nix that idea.
Any other creative ideas on how to celebrate this very special birthday in the middle of winter in the Northeast?
Thanks!
