My Trip with the Senior Gang 1/29 - 2/5 (Long)

What an awesome, awesome day. I laughed when I saw Gladys in the Splash picture -- that's exactly how I look (without the rain bonnet, but I might get one of those for next time).

I absolutely loved reading your reports. You showed them such a great time. I loved the Splash Mountain Picture, I could never get my mom to ride that.

Thank you so much for sharing.

:sunny: Jenifer,

Thank you so much for sharing your trip reports ~ you did a marvelous job and I found myself laughing out loud at some of your comments. The love you have for 'your seniors' comes through in all your posts. I'm so glad that you included the Splash picture so we could put some faces with the names. What a wonderful trip for you all to remember :)

What a great, great report. I h ope you do one when you take your granddaugher also.

If you can swing it, try renting some DVC points out and use the money to pay cash for a trip to Alaska with your Dad. I bet you'd both really enjoy it.

I was visiting the Trips Board to get a WDW fix as we won't be going until 2006 and I happened on your trip report. It really made my day. Thank you

Thanks so much for sharing your trip!

I loved your report!!!! :earboy2: Thank you so much for sharing with everyone! I loved the Splash photo! I can't wait to bring my mom to WDW too! Hopefully your aunt and uncle will want to go back, sounds like you may have a chance too since it seems as if she was Disneyfied! Please be sure to post photos once you get a chance, we'd love to see them! :wave2:

Jen!

I have loved these reports. I think my seniors and your seniors would really get along! I have come to realize how important it is to spend good quality time with my parents.

Thanks so much for sharing.

PS - It's SO not fair that you finished your report before I finished mine :earboy2:

Big Hugs :wave2:

Thank you for putting a smile on my face. It was a wonderful, heart-warming trip report you shared.

I loved reading your trip report - especially about the seniors going on Splash Mountain. I remember taking my dad on the now defunct Rocket Rods at DL. The ride was really fast - a bit like Fast Track at Epcot. Anyway, we get off the ride and I think he's going to be freaked out, and he steps off and says, "Is that all. That ride was a dud!" Gotta love those seniors. Anyway, great report and it is so neat the seniors had such a good time. :flower:

Thanks for sharing...I really enjoyed reading your report

I also liked reading your report. Very sweet of you to take the 3 seniors. Thanks for the nice report. :flower:

Jennymouse, these reports are great!! I can't find the middle though!! This report ends on your first day and the next report that I found has you packing up on your last day!! I know that I am new here...but good grief!!

You must have missed some pages--they are all there. Go back and try again--it's worth the effort!

Jennymouse,
Excellent report. I absolutely love the picture of you guys on SM! They are so cute!! Gladys reminded me of my mom when she was wearing the rain hat thing. My mom will not give that thing up!!! I'm so glad that seniors can enjoy WDW, my parents are in their 70's maybe I can convince them to go sometime.

Thanks for the great report!!! :goodvibes

Great report as always! But did I read right? You're taking your daughter on another vacation? :rotfl2: Make sure you tell us all about that one!

Hey jennymouse!

I wanted to let you know I really enjoyed reading your trip report. I thought it was well written and had me cracking up and crying at the same time (sorry about your mom :grouphug: ). I'm just sorry I didn't see your report earlier so I could comment on each day.

I've added you to my Favorite Trip Reports Thread. I hope you don't mind!

:goodvibes
