well...my trips over. its kind of sad:(. but it was a fun trip. so for anyone whos interested heres my trip....

first off..there were 8 of us. myself, husband and 3 kids(8,4 and 3) my inlwas and my husbands 13yo sister. we stayed at POFQ from 9/25-8/31 for free dining.

we arrived monday after a great flight, it just seemed everything was going our way. no traffic, a shuttle waiting for us in the parking lot, no line at the curb side check in, got in 20 minutes ahead of schedule, walked right though Dollar express and there was even no line at the resort check in!! so at this point we were all on cloud 9! we jumped in the car and headed to planet hollywood where there was no wait. we had a great meal.....and then it hit....the thunderstorms. it was raining and lighting so hard that we couldnt even leave the resort(we had gone back and were going to take the boat downtown). we spent the next 3 hours in our rooms wanting to cry:(. of course me being the drama queen that i am, i was ready to scrap the whole trip and go home, yeah , i know, im ridiculous..lol. by about 8 we were sick of waiting for the boats to open and ended up driving to downtown. luckily it never rained again till the last day.

we got up tuesday morning ready to go. we were out of the resort by 7:30. we went to ihop for breakfast, big mistake dont go there. it smelled bad and was quite overpriced. but, we were out of there quick and at hollywood studios for rope drop. the plan at that point was for a couple of us to sprint to toy story mania and the rest to go on tower of terror. from the looks of it, the park wasnt too crowded. so i figured getting fast passes for TSM would be a breeze. well i was wrong. i couldnt believe how many people were getting them. i was in the middle of the opening ceremony crowd and i think i walked pretty fast, well it wasnt fast enough! by the time i got there the stand by was at 30 minutes and the fast pass lines were mobbed. so we got in a fastpass line, we were there for about 20 minutes and got a fast pass for 2:55. the park opened at 9 that day and by 9:20 the stand by was already at 70 minutes. ive never seen anything like it. well in the mean time the other half of us were able to ride tower of terror and rockin roller coaster before i even got my TSM fastpass. after that we did a coule things and grabed some fastpasses for rockin roller coaster and star tours and the headed back to the resort to swim and eat lunch. that night we had ressies at sci fi, so went back to eat and use our fast passes. we rode toy story AWESOME!!!! definately my new favorite ride! as for scifi, i con honestly say without a shadow of a doubt, i will never eat there again. the service sucked, the food was disgusting and the atmosphere was boring, its much better in pictures. i took one bite of my food and couldnt even look at it, i had to have the take it away. and no i didnt want anything else except to get out of there. but all in all great day, no lines except TSM. the longest line we saw was 20 minutes all day. we were even back to the resort in time to get in a swim.

wednesday was magic kingdom day!!! my favorite park of course. again we were up early, but we decided to get breakfast at the resort this time. food wasnt too good, but with free dining it made it a cheap meal. we didnt make rope drop, but it wasnt busy at all so there was no need. it was amazing how dead it was. sure there were people there but as for lines, nothing more than 15 minutes. even splash and space were minimal waits. unless we just hit it right, but whos that lucky all day? we started out in tomorrowland. i loved monsters laugh floor, but i could see where if you tried to see it again it could be pretty lame. we then headed through the rest of the park doing toontown, fantasyland, fronteirland and adventureland...in that order. we were actually done with the whole park by 3. of course we didnt do everything, but weve been enough times to know we dont want to see everything. oh and i should mention we didnt see any characters. we didnt see the need because we were eating at chef mickeys that night and we werent doing the autograph books this time around. we had 5:00 ressies at chef mickeys so we headed over there and figured we'd just relax before dinner. i was actually shocked to find a line waiting to check in. it wasnt even open yet. so of course i got in line, not really knowing why, but if theres a line, you get in it right? there were about 6 families ahead of me and at 4:40 they started checking people in. come to find out none of those people had reservations, and every one of them were turned away. when i got to the front the host looks at me and says "please tell me you have a reservation". lol. of course i did, so we were brought right in to take our picture. which of course we bought even though we swore up and down we wouldnt. we had a great time there. we were celebrating my sons 3rd bday. we had a cake there. the cake was exactly wht they had promised, it was a 6inch and they wrote happy bday liam on it. we then ended our day with some swimming and downtown disney.

by thursday we started getting up a little later. we went to ponderosa for breakfast. it was decent, but i dont think im in a hurry to go back. we arrived at animal kingdom about 9:30. we dont care for this park as much so were out early as well. again we saw no lines, but we werent there long. we saw lion king for its first show. my older 2 kids were brought up for the ending song, which was very exciting. they just loved that. after that we rode the rapids twice and everest, then my husband and his father rode dinosaur while the rest of us went to dinoland. we were then back to our resort by about 1. my husband took the kids swimming and then to riverside to ride bikes. the kids loved the bikes! i stayed behind to do luandry and nap. that night we went to hoop dee doo. i was very happy with the show!! i didnt think i would enjoy it as much as i did. anyone who hasnt seen it needs to!! we actually got the kids to bed by 10 that night, the earliest they went to bed all week!

friday was out marathon day. we went to epcot. we got a later start so we decided to eat at epcot for breakfast. we went to sunshine seasons, best breakfast we had all week! this was alos the firsttime we really saw lines. we fast passed soarin, i went on it, even though i dont care for it. it was good for a nap. we rode living with the lan for the first time, i really enjoyed it. i was pleasantly surprised. since we hadnt seen any lines all week, we didnt bother to go very fast. so we went to figment while we were over there and to honey i shrunk the audience. by the time we got to test track and mission space they were both at 40 minutes. so we fast passed test track and waited for mission space. we rode spaceship earth, which we loved because of the new picture thing they do. it was hillarious! we finished up that side and went back over to nemo and turtle talk, both a complete waste of our and anyone elses time. we then got to the worlds showcase about 4. we walked and enjoyed that for about 2 hours and then headed back tot he car. we were back tot he hotel around 7ish. no one was hungry so we didnt go back out to dinner till about 10. we went to the espn club, which i really enjoyed. we walked around the boardwalk and i went through a DVC unit and decided im buying one. it was beautiful, and affordable!

saturday was our last day:( we were done with the parks so we decided to go to magic kingdom to do some shopping. we also had ressies at hollywood and vine that night for the fantasmic package so we sent my husband to HS to get us toy story fast passes for later that night. but that didnt work. he was in that park by 10, and they were out of fast passes by the time he got there. this was actually my first (and last) experience with the bus system. i read on here all the time about how convenient they are sp we decided to give them a go. never again!!! it took so long to get anywhere, not to mention waiting for the right bus. it was easy an hour between each place. forget that. we use a diamond parking pass and nothing is more than 20 minutes away. but at least now i can say i tried them. anyway, we went back to HS for our 4:00 ressie at hollywood and vine. which btw, was a great meal! the we decide to wait the 70 minutes for toy story, we didnt have much else to do. it was actually about 55 inutes, it wasnt too bad. it rained all day that day, but they fit fantasmic in. it was my first time seeing it, i was a bit let down. dont get me wrong it was good, but it wasnt fantasmic. we ate dinner so early that day we dicided to grab a pizza at the food court, i must say it was decent pizza, i was surprised. we then very gloomily went to bed knowing it was over ;(.

so thats my very long, very long winded story. its long so im sure no one actually made it through, but i wanted to write for me anyway. so if ny chance someone did read it, thanks for reading and i cnat wait to hear yours!!

oh one more thing...orlando airport is one of the most disorganized airport i have ever flown from!!
