Hi All!
I am finally doing my trip report from this weekend... Lets see where to begin... DH and I left work at 12:30 pm our time (an hour ahead of Cali time) and got on the road to Anaheim... We made kinda crappy time and got to the Motel 6 at about 6pm Cali time. We hung out in our room for a bit and relaxed then headed over to the park for dinner... We got dinner and then got on Pirates and HM... Then we headed for Pooh which had no line at all... We then met up with my friend Kyle who finally showed up around 10:30 and we took off since we were tired... Some kid dropped a Star Tours car and we picked it up but he was rushed off by his parents so now we have it... LOL...
Saturday morning rolls around and we head to the park... We grabbed our tickets for the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour. First thing we do in the park is ride the fire truck... We've never done it and so now it can be crossed off the list... Got a sticker too
We go to the castle and get our photo pass picture taken. The photopass lady asks us if we've done all the rides we wanted and we said we just got there. She leaned and told us that the dream team was near Snow Whites Grotto and we should head over there to get Dream Fastpasses... Thats right!!! We got DREAMED!!!! After this we went on Mr. Toad and Peter Pan. Then we grabbed breakfast and headed over to the Guided Tour area. We met our friends Shelby and Peter who also took the tour with us. The tour was amazing. We learned so much... I even cried... LOL!!! Club 33 is beautiful! After the tour and lunch we walked around and gathered fast passes for Shelby and Peter since we had our Dream Fastpasses... We met up with Kyle again and then we all split up to gather fast passes. DH and I then texted pixiewings71 whom I'd been in contact with all day and we met up with her and her bf and her beautiful girls... We talked for a bit in front of Aladdins Storytelling thing. We then traded pins and took pics... Definitely looking forward to seeing her again. After that Shelby, Peter, DH and I headed to Toontown to use our Roger fastpass but it broke down. So we decided to go to California Adventures and grab our fastpasses there. We hung out around there and then went to dinner at Ariel's Grotto. Honestly the food was ok but I wasnt impressed. We ate cheaper and better at the Blue Bayou. I didn't even get to see Aurora... So after that... We go to California Screamin... Here is where things got kinda ugly... We were waiting in line and this group of gang banger types (not to be stereotypical but they were) starts trying to push their way through saying they are meeting there party... Well I step in front of the chick while she is trying to cut under the bar and she gets up pissed cuz I won't let her through. She starts swearing at me and I tell her that her group can wait for her. Of course no one else is saying anything but she starts cursing at me and pushing me out of the way. At that point I get so pissed and I started swearing at her (not like me) and my DH finally tells me to drop it because he doesn't want to have to hit her if she hits me. So we let her go and I complain to the ride operator who does NOTHING!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I was so shocked. I have never had a bad experience at DL and I was floored. So I spent the next hour steaming about it. After I cooled down we went on Soarin and headed back into Disneyland to use the rest of our fast passes. After that all of us were tired and starting to get cranky so we all left.
Sunday DH and I slept in and headed to DL after checking out to do some shopping... Got some pins and found out it was Pin with Purchase day!!! Woohoo!! So we each got free pins and now I need a new lanyard... This will be lanyard 4. Also got a cute castle picture frame. Then we headed out and went home...
All in all it was a pretty good trip... *waves to pixiewings71*
