My travel to and from Orlando...not a pretty picture!!

I've been debating Worcester vs Logan and been skeptical. Not so much JB and its service, but just the weather limitations with the Worcester Airport. It seems to get fogged in and wind issues in the summer, and snow and ice concerns for sure in the winter. So far, I have stuck with Boston.
Waiting to hear more about Worcester s time passes.

Worcester is notorious for shutting down due to bad weather. I was wondering how this JetBlue thing was going to work. I think I'll keep to Boston or Providence.

While it is very annoying to have to bus back and forth to Boston, if Worcester isn't accessible, I will still book out of Worcester. Massport is supposed to bring in the instrumentation that is needed for bad weather issues. I would hate for people to stop booking out of Worcester, forcing JetBlue to leave. They want to expand to other destinations in the future. I really hope they can make Worcester work!

Worcester is notorious for weather issues. JetBlue isn't the first one to have issues with Worcester. When direct air was there they would divert to bdl all the time. The faa is working on new equipment for Worcester but I doubt it is a high priority with the current budget.

Way back, many years ago, we flew PanAm out of Worcester. We were given a choice.....have the plane land (coming in from Manchester NH), board and then have to make a stop in Allentown to refuel, or wait for another plane to get there. Seems that because the runway was wet, from the rain the previous night, and the plane would use more fuel than usual taking off on that wet runway!
