DH and my two DSs go camping annually with DH's good friend and his two sons. Girls are not allowed, nor would we want to come! So this year, I decided to go to WDW -- first time in a long time we've been able to afford for me to do this.
It's kind of a short-notice trip -- I decided to go just over a week ago and the trip is planned for 5/31-6/4, Thurs-Mon. Originally, it was supposed to be Friday-Mon, but the airfare was WAY cheaper to go on Thursday! We're planning to go as a family in March 2013, so I was planning to buy tickets for that trip one every couple of months -- so I'll get myself an AP on this trip. I have ressies at POP, where I've stayed before (solo trip 5/07 and trip with friend 10/08).
ADRs -- I've been able to get ADRs at EVERY place I've looked at, and for the times I want! I don't know if it's because I'm only looking for tables for one, because school's not out in most places so it's not really busy, or what. So far, I've got an ADR at the Plaza restaurant in MK for Friday, and Coral Reef in Epcot for Saturday. Don't know that I'll do much more than that.
My schedule:
Thursday: arrive app 6:15 pm. Check in, bus to Downtown Disney, eat somewhere there, get my AP. Turn in early so I'm ready to go!
Friday: MK. Evening EMH, we'll see how long I last!
Saturday: Epcot. No EMH. This is my favorite park.
Sunday: AK, see the shows and Jammin' Jungle Parade -- I've never seen that! Then back to Epcot.
Monday: DHS, and back to POP to catch ME to go back the airport at about 4.
I'm a pin trader -- thought I was done awhile ago, so I sold a lot of my pins, but it turns out I still want to trade! So I've bought a bunch of pins, and I'm ready for that.
I bought a new PassPorter -- arrived today!
My kids are jealous, but they're happy to be going camping (each one is bringing a friend), and they know we're going next March, as DS16's school choir is going and we're planning to meet him down there.
I'll post more as I get closer!
