My sunburn. And some tips on how to cure/sooth/make it better. Please help me.

Im using aloe vera gel and ice packs right now.

Whenever I get sunburn, I do what your doing atm. Just put some aftersun on and whatever.

I hope it gets better

On a side note, it's weird how you are sunburnt, when in England, the temperature is absolutely freezing. We haven't seen weather to burn us in months!

i put on aleo and then lottion after that. And if it hurts a lot i would take some like advil or what not. But the pain should go away in a day or two. :]

Keep using aloe gel. Try a towel soaked in ice water too, instead of an icepack. And no matter what your family tells you, don't put butter on it. A lot of idiots do that over here and it actually makes the burn worse.

idk if aloe grows in australia (by all logic, it should, but idk.) fresh aloe works waywayway better than the stuff out of a tube.
just cut the leaf in half, and scoop out the middle, and rub it on your back.

I always use Aloe Vera gel when I'm sun burnt.

I use aloe but with like solarcane in it. Its different and it works alot more. Your lucky your burn isn't blistering. I had to go into the hospital for a sun burn once. That was embarissing. The doctors gave me stuff they give to burn victims and wrapped me up in gauze. So if your burn happens to get that bad go into a doctor but for now what your doing should help.

i use aloe vera too but the one that i use has menthol in it so it really cools you off and feels so much better
try putting it in the fridge before you put it on too that helps a lot.
