My Summer of Dreams!! 8-13-08: Last day of work. =(

Wow, I can't believe that I am almost done! I am at 12 days and counting. I don't know where the summer went. It seemed to fly by. Counting today, I only work 9 more days. Today I am with the Playhouse Disney characters. Also, the CP graduation is on Tues. That will be sad. And to make the day even sadder, I will be eating at LTT dinner for the last time that evening!

Wow. I can't believe it is almost over for you. You are right, I don't know where the summer went either. I have gone back to school and can't believe it starts Aug. 25th and then a week later my kids are back at school. It is just crazy how time flies.

I hope your last few days are wonderful. It has been really enjoyable following your adventures.

Today is my last day of work. I can't believe my CP is just about over. The summer seemed to just fly by. Tomorrow I am off, and most likely will be spending it at my home park- DHS. I will be getting more pictures with the characters, and then buying my second PhotoPass CD. I also hope to get all the DHS specialty photos. I got the ones of Tink and Fighting Hook at MK, and Baby Simba at AK (and they are really cute). Then Friday I will be checking out of my apartment at Patterson with my dad, then we are spending a few days in the parks. The best part is that we are staying at AKL!! I have always wanted to stay there. The plan for the weekend is:
Friday- Check out of Patterson, check into AKL, then spend the evening at MK (it's an EMH night).
Sat- Do morning EMH at AK, spend the morning at AK, then go to Epcot for the evening.
Sun- Spend the morning at DHS (and get my dad on TSM. He has never ridden it before, and I know he will love it), go over to MK for our CP ADR at 4:30, and spend the evening at MK (evening EMH til 3am!).
Mon- check out of AKL and fly home.

So, that schedule wraps up my summer in FL. If I don't come down in Jan for a quick trip, my next trip to FL will be in May (hopefully for good).

Thoughts on what you'd like to do FT? I know a couple of former CPs who did PIs in management and are now waiting for FT positions to open up. Good luck with your senior year and networking within Disney
