This worked SO well last Christmas that I thought I would share this idea. My daughter was 11 and trying to find her own style. She is really into accessorizing.
I found a woman on Craigslist selling a large box of Justice clothing in my DD's size for a really reasonable price. I usually buy my DD one really exciting outfit from Justice each year. This box was less than that one outfit would have cost.
DD really did not want clothes for Christmas but here is the cool part of the gift.
The gift were the accessories. I took each outfit and bought everything she would need to go with it. Headbands, a pair of boots, tights, jewelry. I hit up several different Claire's when they did a 10 for 10.00 sale.
She got a huge box and each outfit was all together for her. At first she saw clothes but then got really excited about how everything went together.
It was a huge hit and she is asking me to do it again this year.
