This is my first pre-trip report and I am sooo excited to be writing it lol I have read countless other pre-trip and trip reports and I hope I can live up to them. But if I dont please don't hurt me hahaha

Well I am planning my son's first trip to Disney for his birthday...........in December......yep you read that right....December. Why am I planning so far ahead??? Because I want this to be the perfect trip for him and I want him to love it just as much as I do. He is also autisitc so my planning is a little more difficult then just planning a regular trip. Ill be planning the major stuff and the rest will just go with the flow.

Here are the details:

Dates: December 14-18, 2009

Hotel: I changed the reservation to All Stars Movies for the whole trip I am so excited!!!

Introducing the characters:

Me (mom a.k.a Christina) princess: I am 26 and a single mom to 2 wonderful kids. My daughter will not be going on this trip but dont worry she will be having her own trip on her birthday next year. I was born and raised in Clearwater Florida and grew up loving all things Disney....

my son Nathan: He will be turning 7 on our trip to Disney. He is the funniest kid you will ever meet and super smart. My only worry is he gets upset over loud noises and huge crowds. Hopefully the fun of being at Disney will override this issue. if not I plan on taking lots of breaks

Well that is all I have for the moment. I will update as I make plans

I am planning March 2010, so December is SOOOON!:rotfl2:

My SIS goes to WDW every year and she books her trips about 1 year in advance, so don't worry about being too far out!

Hope to hear more on your planning soon!

Ok so I got a really good deal for Comfort Inn Suites LBV but after reading reviews which most are bad I am thinking it would be better to just go onsite like I wanted to in the first place. But what resort??? I was thinking of doing All Star Movies for part of the trip so should I just do that for the whole trip??? Or should I really go all out and go up to a moderate??? Or stay off site???? all of these decisions lol

What is the best time to get the best value for December???

I started planning my October trip in January, so I don't think you're doing it too soon.

This is my family's first Disney trip together, so I can't answer your lodging questions. :)

I have decided to just spend a little more and stay on property the whole time at All Star Movies. Has anyone stayed there? Did you like it? With that we will be adding the quick service dining plan. My son is picky so I wont be doing alot of sit down meals. So I have figured out which days I want to go to which parks and some of the places we want to eat.

Dec 14 (arrival date)- Epcot
Dec 15 - Magic Kingdom
Dec 16 - Animal Kingdon
Dec 17 - Sea World
Dec 18 - Magic Kingdom

For breakfast I will just bring cereal and muffins. It will be quick and he eats very little for breakfast.

First Magic Kingdom day for lunch we will do Cosmic Rays

Sea World lunch will be at the restaurant that is under the shark tank. I forget the name of it.

that is all I have planned so far. I will keep you updated when things get moving

Did your dates change? In your earlier post you said you arrived the 11th... did I miss something?:confused3

There is a lot to see at Epcot. You probably need longer than a partial day there.;)

Since I live so close to Disney We will be going up early that day so We will be at Epcot for more of a full day. I was thinking of going from open until it was time to check into the hotel and then take a break, check in have lunch and go back and see the rest of Epcot.

Yeah sorry i forgot to change the dates in the main post. All fixed now
