Yes, we hope to go Sept 4th, had that weekend booked since the trip when we were there same time as you.
MNSSHP occuring that same night is a bonus.
That is good that Jacob doesn't want to miss school, I hope mine gets that way someday. February would be nice, but April would be great because it would probably be during the Flower and Garden Festival. Have you been there for it? It amazes me how much work they put into it. And hopefully two weeks after Easter would be less crowded.
I would love to go to the F&G festival. I have not been yet. Too often our vacation falls on Easter week, so we have not gone in the Spring. We have been in Feb twice. I have been trying to catch up on your report, and saw your F&G photos. They look great! You are swaying me for April! Actually April was my original plan all along, but if my brothers family is in Ft. Lauderdale in April, then my stepmom cannot join us at Disney. April gives me more time to accumulate vacation (still need a new job) and to save for the trip. I think my in laws also want to go with us next time. So now I have to work everyone else's schedule along with mine.
We keep telling Jacob school will get harder next year. Guess he is actually listening. He will be in High School. That is so hard for me to believe.
I love all the pics of Main Street. We have ADR for CP at 9:00. I did that so we could get in the park before it opened and get some good pics like you did

I love the pumpkin with the ice cream scoops. I tried to get a pic of that too but it was at night and it didn't come out
So glad you may be planning another trip! December is my absolute favorite time to go and that first week is really slow. All the decorations are up and it's BEAUTIFUL! We have actually not ruled out taking a quick trip that week too just to see the Osborne lights and Candlelight Processional. It's worth the trip for both of those!!!
Can't wait to see pics from CP. I've never done that one before. You'll have to give us a review of the food too!
Thanks!
I tried to take some night pumpkin pics, but they did not come out too well. And it was so crowded in the afternoon. I was glad to have this time to take photos.
I would love to go in December, it is hard now that the kids are in higher grades. I really want to see all the decorations and the Osborne lights & the Candlelight processional, & the lights on the castle. That would be funny if we were there the same time again.
We love CP. We have had lunch & dinner before, this was our first breakfast. I love the bright sunny atmosphere. I think there are still two updates before we get to CP.
Jill had asked me about an October trip, and I had pretty much said I would be out of that one because of finances, but seeing those window displays again makes me want to change my answer to yes. Plus, we have some cousins who are going down the week of our fall break, and it would be fun to do some stuff with them. I'd love to do MNSSHP again!
I need another job or five to fund all this stuff.
Could there possibly be a mother-daughter trip in December, even if it is short?
What a good kid you have, not wanting to miss school!
Weren't you trying to convince Jill to go in the fall?
I would love to go in December. And I did plan to take Hannah alone at some point. It would be a very different trip. There are a lot of rides she does not ride.

But we could visit all the resorts & look at the decorations, and meet all the princesses and Tinkerbell. Jacob is not too happy with the idea of us going without him though.
I don't know if I will be able to afford December & a longer 2010 trip. Or have vacation time. Apparently we need a new roof, and water heater, and dish washer.

We'll just have to see. I just think there will be a really nice deal that week. I will wait and see what Disney & Southwest deals come out. A nice bonus points offer from Disney Visa would help too.
We have been telling him how much harder next year will be since he will be in High School. Guess he is listening. He was placed in Honors Geometry & Language Arts, and on the higher track classes for Science & Social Studies. He requested Art, Engineering Graphics, & Spanish for electives. So maybe I shouldn't try to convince him to miss school for Disney.
