A friend of mine's little girl lost her two front teeth when she was three (actually, she lost one and they had to pull the other one).
The dentist gave her mom a choice of making a "bridge" that she could wear if she wanted to, but the mom turned him down.
Seriously, I know it is really sad, but it happens a LOT!! The receptionist at our dentist's office had a little girl who lost her front teeth when she hit them on the bathtub.
Those baby teeth are pretty soft, so they break kind of easily (remember, they are only meant to last 4-5 years). The good news is that almost all of the time, no damage is done to the soft tissue, or bone structure of the mouth, and the new teeth come in just fine and pearly white!!
It seems really bad now, but my friend said it didn't bother her (or her daughter) as much as they had feared. Everyone just assumed she was older and had started losing her teeth, and she had no speech impediments after the first few days.
My friend even said, "You know...years from now we'll look back and laugh. Of COURSE it was this one of my children who did this....she is just a rough and tumble little girl...this kind of fits with her personality."
I know it seems really upsetting right now,

but your son could've been hurt a lot worse than teeth.
I hope he feels better tomorrow!!
