My SIL & BIL were dealing w/ infertility, but did such a classy thing today

DH's sister & her husband dealt with infertility for about 2 or so years. After a few AI treatments, they finally found out she was pregnant. They are expecting their first daughter in December.

Today was her baby shower. In lieu of a shower favor everyone received a flower with this card on it:

In lieu of favors we are making a donation in the parent's names to the Infertility & IVF Medical Associates Clinic to help others celebrate, as we are today, the gift of life.

I just thought that was such a classy thing to do & wanted to share.

That is really nice. We did something similiar, knowing that my babies were more than likely going to be premature and in the NICU, we donated the money to the NICU in the hospital they were going to be born in. BtW a huge congratulations to your bil and sil

As I sit here and look at my precious 2 week old baby, I fully understand what a wonderful gift it is to be blessed with a baby after struggling with (secondary) infertility. What a very classy and touching thing for them to do.
