My Sigma 30 1.4 arrived this a.m. Looks like I got a good copy.

I was a little nervous given some of the bad things I've read about focus problems with this little guy. I'm going to a wedding tonight--might just take it along.

Great! Post samples soon.

You and I seem to be on the same page in our gear purchasing. First Sigma macro (though 105mm vs 150mm), and now I just bought a used Sigma 30mm off Ebay too... I had the seller test focus before I agreed to purchase ;) WDW in 20 days  Can't wait to take a whole new set of gear down.

We're going down in December. My M.O. was to get the lenses so I could learn how to use them well in advance of the trip.
As for a lot of purchases in a short time--the prices seem to only go up on this stuff, I'm still working, so it's money in the bank, right? LOL

Excellent purchase. I haven't used mine in a while, but we have a family gathering tomorrow so I was thinking of using that instead of my zoom.

Definately post some pics of the wedding. I like this lens' performance in low light.

CODE, I thought you already had this lens.? Is the one you got on ebay your 2nd copy? Something happen to the old copy? Just curious.
