My Reward Programs are Paying Off BIG for WDW

Here is how I am using my credit card and other rewards for our WDW trip this November:

1. We just cashed in $3400 in GM Card rebate dollars for my new car, which we will drive to WDW! (Never paid a dime in interest, so it really was "free" money).

2. I have enough Marriott Rewards points to pay for our rooms one night on the road (BIL is coming with us, need two rooms) on the trip back.

3. I have earned about $50 cash from surveys, all tucked in the WDW savings bank (otherwise known as the giant plastic crayon).

4. My AAA Diamond Advantage Credit Card gets us 5% back on gas (really handy these days), and I have three $50 vouchers for the AAA Vacation Store, which will more than pay for our Space Center Tickets.

5. I have tons of MyPoints to redeem for Starbucks and gas cards (fuel for the car and the drivers!).

I am truly amazed at the people I know who do not even have a rewards credit card. If you're gonna charge, you might as well make it work for you.

I get so excited when I read about all the clever ways folks on the DIS are using/combining/leveraging various programs to help pay for WDW trips. I have learned a lot here!
