I was a at POR from april 29th-May 4th..
We had quite a few meals..Lets see which ones I can remember
Night one was dinner at Ohana..What can I say that hasn't been said about Ohana..It was wonderful.I found a copycat recipe of the wings,which I plan to try. One thing that really pleased me was that the teriyaki steak was so thick it was like a real steak,Not thin strips of meat,but nice thick steak..In fact I had so much of it that I canceled my LeCellier plans for the next day. I already have more PS's for Ohana in August
My sister requested Boma so we went there instead of LeCellier. Boma was wonderful too.I'm a Disney novice with only 2 trips under my belt but Boma and Ohana are my favorites.. I didn't plan on having more steak,but I could not resist the prime rib..They also had ribs that night as a special..They have something there that I love..It's got sweet tasting meat on the bottom and then a sort of egg crust on the top. Bobote? Whatever it was it was good.
We also went to Restaurant Marrakesh.I had the Marrakesh feast..The shish Kabobs were good,the Beef brewat was awesome,but the best part was the dessert sampler.. It also came with lemon chicken and soup..My sister got dark meat while I got white..If you prefer one over the other I would tell them..The portions here are so large that If I went with my SO we would spit a meal..Oh,even the couscous was good,and I don't really like couscous.
We also went to Akershus... I liked all of the appetezers,but I wasn't thrilled with the entrees..I had the Chicken and pasta dish and it was Ok..I also tried the venison stew,which was OK.. I probably wouldn't eat there again..It wasn't bad,it just didn't thrill us.
We also ate out way around the WS one day..We started with fish and chips in the UK,Chocolate Crepes in France, A funnel Cake in the American Pavilion, Bratwurst in Germany and much later we had wet burritos and Nachos at Mexico..
I spent 15 years in San Diego and I'm generally picky about mexican food..Real mexican food does not have hamburger in it..I have to say though that the fast food mexican place wasn't bad,and it had large portions.. i was pleased and would eat there again

And I'm considering trying the Buffalo at Artists Point

Thanks for taking the time to post your reviews. I enjoyed them! My family loves 'Ohana and Boma, and we think it is fun to eat our way around the WS too! Oh how we love those funnel cakes!

'Ohana and Boma are our two "musts" every trip. So glad you enjoyed both! We also loved the ribs and the prime rib at Boma last week. And I like the boboti too! Did you happen to try the cilantro chicken salad? Excellent, and very refreshing. Of course we pigged out on coconut tiramisu, banana bread pudding and chocolate hazelnut crunch, and then fell into a Boma coma!

Back to Boma in October with lots of friends & family.

Jenny - absolutely try the Buffalo at Artist Point!!!!! It is amazing - my favorite food in the World - WDW & the Real World. I would travel to WDW just to have it. Fork Tender & bursting with flavor. Makes your taste buds Sing!

Thanks for your reviews. We are trying O'hana for the first time this July. Can't talk my husband and kids into Boma, they think it will be too exotic. I have nothing but good things about it and I would also love to check out AKL.
Oh well, maybe next trip.
