Just returned from a great trip.
My reviews are here:
Le Cellier - the best food during this trip. The filet mignon was so tender it pulled apart witht the fork. I ordered it Med Well, but I don't think the chef wanted to prepare it that way. It came out med rare, and then went back. When it came back, it was still med rare. Oh well. It was still good. The breads were good. Tomato mozzarella was a great appetizer. Cheese soup was good. Family ordered prime rib and strip steak - also good. Fifty dollars for my filet, water, tomato appetizer, daughter's kiddie meal, shirley temple, and soup. Pretty expensive, but good.
Boma - good as usual. I always enjoy eating here. The resort is great. This meal is for those who will take a little taste of everything, just to sample the flavors of Africa. The desserts alone make the meal. Family liked it, but didn't like the beef or the pork. I liked both.
O'Hana - very interesting. The meat service is the best. The servers bring the turkey - my favorite - beef, pork, and peel-and-eat shrimp on giant skewers. The meats are all great. I liked the salad with the lime dressing, also. DD had a great time doing the coconut race and hula hoop. Family loved this restaurant, because it was so different from anything else we have at home.
Storybook breakfast was okay. The characters spent more time with us at Cindy's. The food was so-so. The potato dish was the best, but the rest was just average fare.
I am convinced the best hot dogs on property are BWV room service, and Pecos Bill's. DD loved the bologna sandwich at Harbour House across from Haunted Mansion.
Olivia's at OKW was good. The staff is very friendly, and made the meals very enjoyable.
