My report on the mummy!!!!!

all I can say is OMG!!!!!! What an awsome ride this is!!! WE went on it a total of 33 times hahahaha over 3 days. You can't go on this ride with anything on your body besides your clothes, they have lockers right there and they will not let you in the doors unless you get rid of all bags cameras and purses. They are free for 1 and half hours after that 2 dollars and more. The line moves very fast we never waited what the wait time said for it they load 2 cars at a time on both sides but only one track is on this ride. I literally swore the whole way thru it the first time as did my hubby who loves thrill rides! It is a roller coaster but not a high hill one but very fast I would go to florida in a sec again today just to go on this ride over and over again I would never get sick of it!! If anyone has any questions about the ride and what it actually does just ask I love discribing it omg it is my most favorite ride in the world now!!! GOOD JOB UNIVERSAL IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh cool doesn't do it justice hahaha I didn't want to leave we had 45 more minutes till the park closed and I wanted to keep going but my son wanted to do MIB again hahaha and thanks I loved it as you can tell! I like the fact it tricks you a few times with unexpected things !

englishman I don't think they are when you get in the seat a thing is pushed into your lap and pushed right down I thought mine was down where it should be and they came and pushed it even tighter I am pretty sure it has to be put in a locker for the lap thing to be where it should they said nothing at all is to be brought onto it least the 3 days I was there and they were strict about it

joann, i was on this ride almost in december. we were all strapped in and right before our car left my daughter asked the ride attendant if there were any big drops, he said very. needless to say we jumped out last minute. my husband son, and everyone else assured us, it was awesome, no big drops. so my question to you, how big is the drop, would you say honestly like space mountain? thank you, sorry i was rambling.

janice1234 hmmm I went on space mountain last week a few times and can't remember the drops on SM hahaha I know those ones were not big tho! On the mommy after you go thru the first part of the ride you come to a part where it looks like your going up this big hill and you think its a big drop after but it is not big it is just steep down and fast and you go right into a turn, the drops on the mummy are not big ones ut are very fast and sharp very intense, but again very fast.If you don't like big drops then this is ok for you if you don't like sharp steep fast ones then you will not like it but they are deffinatley not big it is not constant either you start slow go fast stop then continue again it is like you are in the movie and on this adventure because things talk to you at points thur it and tell a story

sigh* I rambled sorry janice1234 straight out so your not confussed they are not big I swear !!!! steep yes fast yes intense yes two make your butt come off the seat but its the way you go over it and how fast your going that makes your bum rise I think you would love it my 9 year old who only just went on rollercoasters this year loved it and rode it the 33 times with me I wouldn't call it a rollercoaster per say because you don't have the big hills!

You can take small fanny packs as long as they can be pulled over to the side and not on your tummy or back.

we just came back from universal on Sunday. Although I didn't ride it 33 times, I have to agree it is a great ride. I don't like rollercoasters, but I tried this one. I'm so glad I did, and felt pretty proud that I did. I love how it shoots you up the hill. That's my favorite part. By the 10th time we were riding with no hands. Wohoo!!! Don't be afraid ~ try it once

OMG ribbitribbit that is my favorite part of it to because it is so unexpected when you start up the hill you think your going to go up it slow then the mummy on the top wall says **your souls are mine**or something like that and WHAM super fast you shoot up the hill!!! OMG I want to ride it again and again heheheh

I agree with you - this is the single best ride I have ever been on. I am a HUGE Disney fan and this is my first trip to Universal, but it won't be my last.

I got here Sunday for a conference and have gone back after the conference Monday and Tuesday to ride The Mummy. I'm up to 9 times for the three days, but will be going some more today.

Maybe I'll match your count for the week....

AreWeThereYet ... I am sooo envious (spelling?) of you! Its great huh!
JessicaR..... you are going to love it! It is unlike anything I have ever been on, very well put together and lots of surprises and such a thrill! I was bugging last night to go again for a 4 day trip, even tho I just spent 10 days at Disney only got back friday night ! Not sure my boss would like it or my mom as I made her watch my 7 parrots and she told me she is to old for that took her 2 hours everyday for feedings and cleaning the cages hahaha, I will pay her if I take off and go again!

This was a great ride, we also rode it so many times in 2 days I can't count them (we had FOTLA...which helped out alot)

I had a fanny pack everytime I rode with no problems, they never sid anything to me about ahving it on.

My favorite it part was how you suddenly start going backwards and downhill. It caught me so off guard the 1st time...I screamed the whole way thru
