Jennifer was pretty common in the late 60's. Growing up they were everywhere. My mom said she only heard it once - in the movies. Don't know why she spells my middle name like that though.
You may find it hard to believe, but my real name is Melanie.
Named after Melanie from Gone with the Wind. I guess it's better than being named Scarlett O'Hara.
. . .Colleen; named that because both my parents are Irish. (Gaelic meaning: Little Irish Girl) DUH!!! Very predictable! My DH's name is Keith Sean. He was named after Keith Richards and Sean Connery by his mom because her favorite band when he was born was (and still is) The Rolling Stones, and she had a crush on Sean Connery who at the time was James Bond. . .definitely more exciting, although you can tell he was a product of the '60s....
Oh, that's not bad!
DH had great uncles with middle names after the weather on the day they were born....Clear, Gale, and Waves! The first one was Ollie Clear...don't remember the other 2 first names, though....
I was born Judith Angelique Tarantino. Dropped the Angelique the second I got married. My mother was in her dramatic stage when she named me I guess. I was supposed to be Kathrine Angelique Tarantino, which I greatly prefer. I feel more like a Kate than I do a Judith or Judi, my nickname.
