My Puppy Discovered Mud Yesterday (pics)

It doesn't rain much here in sunny San Diego, but we had a down pour yesterday. This is the first time Jake has experienced rain in any significant amount. Look what fun he had!


This is Jake on a normal. sunny, clean day...

Thank goodness we saw what state he was in before he made it into the house!!! Straight to the bath for him!

Aww cute puppy! Makes me miss having a dog. He is gorgus, is he a lab? Its hard to tell by your pics.

bryelee- Jake is part lab. We have no idea what his mix is. He is much smaller than a lab, only 40 lbs. He also has long fur, just perfect for trapping mud!

I showed the pic to my mom and she just laughed and laughed. SHe wants me to let you know that since he has now discovered it to expect this more often SHe had a dog that discovered mud and dirt once and had to watch him EVERY time he went outside or else end up giving him a bath. She said it was funny the first time, cute the second, and tiresome every time thereafter

At any rate I think he is adorable!!!!

LOL! It's been raining here for the past couple of days and our floors are covered in little muddy paw prints...no use cleaning the floors until the rain stops. And my puppies are shorties so their belly gets dirty, too! Looks like your puppy had fun!
