My prices dropped quite a bit on April Southwest flights

Sorry if this is a repost but I didnt see any related postings in the last couple days.

I checked on my April 20 - 27 Southwest flights from MHT to MCO and they have dropped quite a bit today. I was able to rebook for better, nonstop flights, and with the credit left over get a ticket for my 18 month old. I have been checking these often and they had been only going up (this is April vaca week here in MA).

Wanted to tell others to check out their flights and maybe you will have good luck too.

4 tickets were $949 total. That would be $237 each. We are going Tues - Tues leaving during April school vacation week. My kids have a teachers prof day on Monday, so they will only miss 1 day of school. If I went more like a Sat - Sat of school vaca week the prices were much higher, although today they look much better.

Thanks for the heads up. Ours are still much higher- I paid $134 per person (I think) and now they're $233 each!

I had the same luck this morning. I saved almost $400 on round trip air out of Providence. We are going April 22-27. The only thing that stinks is that the money is a Southwest credit for a future flight. Guess we're going to have to go on another trip to WDW!!

I keep waiting to book our trip for March! SW is way more than airtran, but I'd rather fly SW. I mean way more (but we'd have to fly in and out of DCA rather than BWI which is closer and more convenient for me).

Now that's irony! I prefer to fly out of DCA but BWI always has lower prices for my preferred airlines and routes...
